Sudden natural disasters and other emergencies can sometimes wreak havoc on unsuspecting communities leaving a trail of despair.

The Disaster Relief Fund is designed to offer financial aid to communities in distress. Through the fund, masoniCare can quickly respond in emergencies, providing much needed financial assistance.

Through the Disaster Relief Fund, NSW and ACT Freemasons donated nearly $200,000 to a project in Sri Lanka designed to help Tsunami victims and $200,000 to assist families of the Victorian Bushfire Victims.

masoniCare has pledged $100,000 to assist the Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of QLD's Flood Appeal and has also opened a Flood Victims Appeal to assist those affected by this disaster.
