Masonicare has a Bequest Program which is designed to encourage the Masonic Community to donate through bequeathing money and/or assets. All funds bequeathed to Masonicare go directly to support Freemasonry and our local communities through our trusted charitable programs.

Making a Will ensures that your estate is distributed in the way that you would like. Many people like to leave a lasting legacy by supporting a charity after the needs of their family have been met. A gift in your Will, no matter what the amount, will help support Masonicare efforts over the coming years and would be greatly appreciated. Many also provide support through in- memoriam giving and donations in lieu of birthday, anniversary or wedding gifts.

Please see below suitable wording for a bequest.

  (A)   I Give ---------------- dollars to United Grand Lodge of New South Wales Grand Charity ( Known as Masonicare)

(B)   If at my death United Grand Lodge of New South Wales Grand Charity (Known as Masonicare)has ceased to exist or has amalgamated with another charity or has changed its name this gift shall not fail but my executors shall pay it to the charitable organisation ( in New South Wales) which consider most nearly fulfils the objects that i intend to benefit.

(C)   The receipt of the Grand Secretary of The United Grand Lodge of NSW  shall be deemed a sufficient discharge of this gift.
